Mark is the Social Sustainability Lead for Siemens in Great Britain and Ireland. He manages the future skills portfolio, including school and college engagement, as well as other societal and people orientated foci. Mark has worked in the STEM arena for over 25 years, previously in educational charities and then moving into business. His experience include writing and creating project content, consultative and strategic advice with education and business and managing UK Government contracts linking schools and businesses around the skills agenda.
Mark is an active STEM Ambassador and sits on strategic boards for OCR, The Inclusion Collective and EngineeringUK’s Business & Industry Panel. Mark chairs the Manufacturing Technologies Association’s Education and Development Committee, is a Board Member of the NW3 Maths Hubs and is a judge for The Big Bang Competition, Technologist of the Year category.
